My name is Carlton Green and I am glad you stopped by my page. Here's a little about me that you should know. I have worked in customer service and technical support for over 15 years. I started as a customer service representative troubleshooting DSL broadband. I gained most of my knowledge and troubleshooting skills from that job. I worked as a customer service representative for 3 years and decided to move on to telecommunications. As a telecommunications technician, I installed cable television, phone, security, and internet service.
Today, my role in telecommunication is cable plant maintenance. My job as a maintenance technician is highly important because we ensure the entirety of cable service is active and working 24/7. I'm a goal-setter and I like to challenge myself to learn as much as I can in something I enjoy. I love technology and one of my goals was to reach the top of the cable technician ladder which was maintenance. During my years as a cable technician, I started online school to get a degree in Computer Programming/Information Technology. Due to life changes I had to stop school, but was able to go back to earn my Associate's Degree in 2022. Even though I have a degree, I believe there is still much for me to learn because technology is a forever-changing field. I hope to get a refresher out of my current IT course and get more engaged in learning new things.
